Not “there is power in the Gospel” or “the Gospel brings us power” but “the Gospel is the power of God”!
This living Gospel has power to change us in every conceivable situation to become more and more like Christ.
In essence the Gospel of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection changes us to become more Father-focussed and less self-centered.

Prayer: Our Father in heaven, would you release the power of the Gospel and its implications in every area of my life. I pray that it will change me to become more and more like Christ and release me from the enslaving grip of sin in my life. Amen
